This lil’ beauty was built in San Clemente and shipped to Montauk to sell during one of my summer stays. It was shaped in one of the oldest board material supply factories in Southern California; Basham’s.

The Story Behind the Peach Twinny

I wanted to keep it light and high-performance so I was looking through my deep collection of fabrics and ran across this beautiful light orange piece of silk. I  didn’t exactly know where it had come from until it was finished and I showed it to our Grandmother, the ultra stylish designer, who told me she had picked it up and used it while on her trip to India to visit our father. I decided that the rest of the board needed something subtle so I washed the nose area, rails, and bottom with an off-white pearlescent paint that really brought the entire aesthetics of the board together. With the addition of a beautiful set of wooden keel fins, this is not only a beauty, but a rider until the end! – Coach Evan
