Frequently referred to as “a pop-up”, our first goal in teaching you this skill is to simply shift your approach to it as a thoughtful stand-up, instead of a sudden and explosive pop-up.

It will eventually become as fast as you initially intend it to be when practicing a pop-up, but with more intention and accuracy on foot placement.
