Adam wrote in about using a surf skate (I took that to mean skateboards in general even though he may have been referencing a specific type of board) for land training. I used to answer this question by saying, there’s no training substitute for surfing, but since learning from Marcelo Castellanos, I’ve changed my mind. His approach to using skateboards for body mechanic training, specifically while turning is incredibly valuable.
